"Micronisms XXVI", like others works from the Micronisms series, is a mixed media piece that measures 5.75" x 5.75". Each of its sixteen grids is 1" square. I keep a library of tiny found objects to use for these pieces and always keep my eyes peeled for more. It is not unusual for me to receive packages in the mail, left on my porch or hand-delivered to my home, containing found objects from friends and acquaintances (with notes that say things like, "I took apart my garage door opener and found these inside. I couldn't throw them away. Thought of you...").
